Head of Business and Economics - Required for September 2025 - Full time or Part time

Pangbourne College is looking to recruit an outstanding Head of Business and Economics with the management skills to lead and develop this highly successful department.  Typically, over half of the 6th Form cohort will choose these subjects.  You will be an excellent classroom practitioner, bringing passion and enthusiasm to the role.  Having the ability to teach proactive and focused lessons at KS4 for Business and KS5 for Business and Economics.  You will hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification along with the desire and dedication to ensure high standards of pupil progression and attainment. 

As the Head of Department you will have strong people and administration skills to provide strategic direction and the development of Economics and Business within the College. Cultivating teaching and learning by ensuring high expectations of staff and pupils within a happy and purposeful environment. Director of Rugby - Required for September 2025 or sooner

Pangbourne College is looking to recruit a Director of Rugby to lead the Rugby programme with vision, energy and expertise, shaping the future of the sport within the College. The successful individual will oversee the development of Rugby across all year groups, coaching teams and ensuring a high-quality experience for pupils. This role could be combined with high level coaching/playing outside of College commitments, which can be discussed with the Director of Sport prior to application. 

The Director of Rugby will play a key role in fostering a passion for the sport, delivering enjoyable participation, meaningful competitions and performance. They will develop a pre-season schedule and work closely with key partners for the College, including our partner club, Ealing Trailfinders who are supporting us with this vacancy and also Local rugby clubs, to provide opportunities for pupils.

You will have a strong coaching background, experience in talent development and a proven ability to lead successful rugby programmes. Working collaboratively with the Director of Sport and other members of staff to deliver a structured, high-performing and inclusive Rugby programme that supports pupil recruitment and development.
