Teacher of Music and College Accompanist - Required for September 2025 

We are looking to recruit an outstanding Music Teacher and experienced accompanist to join our well-established and successful Music department.  This is an ideal opportunity for an ECT or a more experienced teacher to teach Music to GCSE and A level, and to accompany pupils up to diploma standard.  For suitably experienced candidates, this may include an additional allowance as Assistant Director of Music.

You will be an excellent classroom practitioner and ensemble leader with an infectious passion and enthusiasm for Music. Head of Modern Foreign Languages - Required for September 2025

Assistant Director of Sport  - Required for September 2025

Pangbourne College is seeking an experienced and ambitious Assistant Director of Sport  to manage girls hockey, football, and tennis, teach stimulating PE lessons through the school as well as drive success and inclusivity in girls sport. The applicant must be able to contribute to the teaching of both GCSE and A-Level/BTEC programmes, with the aim to act as subject lead for either GCSE Physical Education or Level 3 BTEC Sport. The successful candidate may also assume responsibility for Director of Hockey.

Graduate Sports Assistant - Required for September 2025

1 Year FTC - Accommodation provided

We are looking to recruit a Graduate Sports Assistant to coach at least two of Hockey, Rugby, Football, Cricket or Tennis. We welcome applications from graduates with degrees in all subjects, not just sports related. This role would suit someone who is looking for experience of working in a school with the possible aim of entering the teaching profession. The opportunity to study for a PGCE may be available following successful completion of the first year.

The Graduate Sports Assistant will be managed by the Director of Sport, but will support all of the PE department in running sport and PE. This is a fantastic opportunity that demands high levels of self-motivation, enthusiasm, commitment and the ability to actively encourage pupils to partake in a wide range of activities.  

Single (shared) accommodation can be provided. You will be expected to be involved in activities outside of timetabled lessons and sports sessions plus play a full part in the busy life of our boarding school, which will include two evenings per week and weekend duties. Terms are short, intense and holidays long so that batteries can be recharged.
