The values that underpin a Pangbourne education are as relevant and important today as they were at our foundation in 1917. Our ethos is one of personal development and can be summarised in three words: Challenge, Community and Character.
We provide a broad and adventurous curriculum, within a caring and supportive community, and our aim is to develop students to grow in character, equipped to make a positive difference to the world. Armed with our Flag Values, developed through being part of our school community, Pangbournians embrace life.
To nurture and maintain these unique values for the future, our Master Plan will see significant investment in our future. Donations from our parents, pupils and staff, past and present, will support an exciting future for the next generation of Pangbournians.
The 1917 Society aims to support this plan and our unique ethos and values, celebrating our history whilst looking ahead to our future. The Society was established to recognise the generosity of those who have committed gifts of £1,917 or more to the College. Member benefits include invitations to exclusive events, as well as regular communications.
If you would like to become a member of The 1917 Society through committing a gift to the College, the How to Give section provides more information.
Together, community support will ensure the College and its unique values, continues to thrive and provide the best education for future generations.
