The girls of our Illawarra Division (Boarding House) recently led a whole-school bake sale in order to raise money for charity.

A delicious array of sweet treats were on offer outside of the girls’ Division during lunchtime and later on in the afternoon. From brownies, muffins, cakes and cookies there was ample choice to satisfy anyone's taste buds! 

It was a total success with both pupils and staff visiting the stand to make generous donations. A carrot cake and a large amount of brownies were also donated to staff members which could be bought individually or as a box of six.

With the total raised amount reaching roughly £380, the money will be split between two charities. Part of the raised funds will be donated to Marwa Nursing Home to provide small Christmas presents to the residents. In light of the recent COP26 discussion, the remainder of the money will go towards an environmental cause.
