What are your fondest memories of the College?
It was my first time living abroad, so that was a really new experience for me and sharing moments with my roommates, many of whom we’re still in touch. And then, of course, the parades, they are one of my fondest memories of the school.
What did you go on to do after Pangbourne?
I finished the two years of school I had left in Madrid, which is where I'm originally from, and then I went to to study Architecture at university in the UK.
How did your time at Pangbourne prepare you for life beyond school?
In my case, my experience at Pangbourne was a life changing one because I was a really shy girl. It was my first time being abroad, facing a really difficult situation for me because, of course, I was not local. It literally was life changing! After that, I was like 'I can face any situation now'. I'm very thankful for the opportunity because it's what's taken me to where I am now.
How would you describe Pangbourne College?
It's a very unique school that, apart from being very well recognised for its education, also creates a sense of community amongst the students and is very disciplined. If you look into the parades and all of the traditions that they do it's very unique. I think it teaches you different values than other schools.
What would you say to somebody who is considering Pangbourne for their child?
I would highly recommend Pangbourne as it integrates many of the values that a parent would like for their child to have, such as collaboration, being community-minded, and doing your best.
