About me
As a pupil I went to Bradfield College followed by a gap year traveling. This set me up in good stead for my three years at the University of Hull to study Sports and Exercise Science & Coaching Performance. Outside of the academic field, I am a keen footballer and play hockey and fair weather golf.
Why do I love teaching?
I love teaching Biology as it's applicable to everything we see, do, and the way we behave. Who doesn't like to understand the world around them and how it influences us?
My other roles at Pangbourne are...
- Girls' Hockey Coach
- Boys' Football Coach
- Athletics Coach
If I hadn't been a teacher I would have been...
I have never considered not being a teacher. Seeing the development of a pupil from the point they started at a college, to their last day is one of the most satisfying aspects of the job. Plus it keeps you young!
My role model is…
As a young Liverpool FC fan, Steven Gerrard has always been a role model of mine. A leader who showed that you can lead from the front without having to shout from the rooftops.
I would describe Pangbourne as...
A tight knit community which draws out the strengths in the individual.
