About me

I was educated at Belle Vue Boys School in Bradford West Yorkshire, then joined the 4th 7th Royal Dragoon Guards (Army) in 1981 Whilst in the forces, I qualified as a AFV crew commander responsible for all aspects of vehicle operation, crew man management, maintenance, servicing and testing. As a Gunnery Instructor teaching chieftain tank gunnery, I also supported the delivery of adventure training through Mountain Leader, Ropes Course, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Potholing and Sailing qualifications.

I joined Ginsters Limited in 1994, managing a van sales team, accounting for 1.5 million sales turnover per annum. I was responsible for the induction and training of new sales staff, customer procurement and retention.

I joined Pangbourne College in 1996, to market the College's facilities throughout the year. I'm also in charge of the development, planning, management and facilitation of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, and I support the delivery of all Adventure Training and participate in all aspects of instruction with the Combined Cadet Force. 

Finally, I am also responsible for the production and implementation of policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety, Lettings, Swimming Pool and Ropes Course.

I am married with two children, both of whom were educated at Pangbourne.
