About me

I spent many years working in Television working on a variety of programmes, I travelled and met life long friends throughout my time in the industry. I decided then to have a shift in work/life balance and moved into a finance role nearer home, this worked well and again I met good friends and learned a lot about the finance industry. I then took a career break to become a Mummy - my son is my world and makes me smile and laugh every day. When he started school I started a pastoral role at a local independent school which I loved. I enjoy working within a school environment and am pleased to now have a role in Admissions at Pangbourne College with a great team.

I love my role because...

I enjoy working as a team, meeting new people and building relationships. Providing support to families during such an important time in their child's lives is crucial and something I’m so pleased to be a part of.

My role model is...

Malala Yousafzai for showing utter courage, bravery and perseverance. The town that Malala lived in was taken control of by the Taliban who forbade women from going to school. After speaking out publicly, Malala became a target and suffered as a consequence, however thankfully she lived to tell the tale. Since moving to the UK, Malala has established the Malala Fund, a charity to give girls the opportunity to learn and choose their own future. She continues to fight to give everyone the opportunity of education and equality.

I would describe Pangbourne as...

Pangbourne College recognises and welcomes the individuality of each pupil and in turn this encourages those pupils to thrive and flourish in a way that is right for them.
