About me

I grew up and was educated in Hertfordshire. Throughout my life I have been a keen sports player and have always loved being involved in as many sports as possible, such as rugby, cricket, football and golf to name a few. My real passion is rugby, which I plan on continuing to play for a long as I can, to the highest level possible. Once I had finished school, I took a gap year and worked as a Gap Year Student at Chesham Preparatory School. I then went on to study Sports Coaching and Development at the University of Gloucestershire before I graduated and came to work at Pangbourne, where I recently completed my PGCE in PE. My other interests include coffee, cooking and going to the gym.

Why do I love teaching Physical Education?

I love seeing students work hard and developing as an all round individual. Not everyone will get 8s or 9s in their exams or be an amazing athlete, but everyone has the opportunity to be a great person.

My other roles at Pangbourne are:

  • Assistant Housemaster Hesperus

If I hadn't been a teacher I would have been...

A Rugby Coach

My role model is...

Kieran Read

I would describe Pangbourne as...

Pangbourne College is a supportive community where every child matters and they are able to explore a variety of different academic subjects, sports and other co-curricular activities.
