What are your fondest memories of Pangbourne College?

My fondest memories are the friendships that I made during my time here. I'm still in touch with the majority of my year group and those in my division. Also, all of the activities that I took part in whilst I was at the College, whether that was in sports - I was involved in rugby, cricket, tennis, anything going really, music - I was in the College and Chamber Choir, and I also took part in CCF. A real range of activities and I was incredibly grateful for every opportunity that I was given.

What did you go on to do after Pangbourne?

After I left Pangbourne College I went to the University of Exeter to read English Literature and German. I then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law, and I'm now completing my masters with the legal practice course at the University of Law, too, with the ultimate aim of becoming a solicitor.

How did your time at the College prepare you for life beyond school?

Pangbourne prepared me in the way that it made me a very organised person. Due to the extremely busy schedule, I had to be very organised at the time, particularly in my final year. As I mentioned beforehand, there were so many activities going on on top of our GCSEs, A Levels, and other exams, therefore being very timely and organised was something I certainly learned.

Another way was by building friendships and communicating with people in these friendships and relationships. Events such as dinners, socials, and just spending a lot of time with friends really enhanced my social skills and that was integral to how I build relationships and communicate today.

How would you describe Pangbourne College?

I would describe Pangbourne as a very unique place. It is somewhere where you build friendships for life, where you partake in activities, you learn and have fun, and where you can excel as an individual in any field.

What would you say to somebody who is considering Pangbourne for their child?

For somebody considering Pangbourne, I would say take the opportunity. It's an amazing place and somewhere where your child will excel and have an amazing time.

Three words to describe Pangbourne College?

Three words I would use to describe Pangbourne College are togetherness, tradition, and unique.
