About me
After studying Philosophy and Theology at the University of Birmingham I began teaching Religious Studies (RS) as part of the Teach First programme, before moving to Pangbourne College. I teach RS and PSHCE across various ages, as well as getting involved with St George division events, running a debate club, working with pupils to run the Charlotte Drake society, helping out in Duke of Edinburgh, and in the school gym. When not working I spend my time powerlifting, hiking and figure skating.
Why do I love teaching?
RS, when taught well, has the ability to inspire pupils not just to learn but to think. It helps pupils formulate independent opinions and provides them with the knowledge and evidence to defend those opinions whilst examining and understanding the opinions of others.

I would describe Pangbourne as...
Pangbourne College is the total embodiment of whole child education. In every part of the College, and at every level, value is placed on educating and nurturing the whole person, not just to pass exams but to ensure they leave the College a better person than when they entered, in whatever way that may mean for each individual child.
